T-SHIRT ARTWORK TEMPLATES

HOW TO USE OUR ARTWORK TEMPLATES

Photoshop

1. Open the template file in Photoshop.

2. Make sure the ‘LAYERS‘ panel is visible on the right. If you can’t see it, go to WINDOW > LAYERS in the top toolbar. 

3. Change the t-shirt colour if you like by double clicking the colour picker on the layer named ‘T-SHIRT COLOUR‘.

4. Click the layer named ‘YOUR DESIGN GOES HERE‘. Create your artwork on this layer.

5. Ensure your design is within the design area. The absolute maximum size is 32cm x 46cm.

6. Once you’ve finished designing, be sure to Rasterize all fonts. Select all the text layers in the layers panel, then RIGHT CLICK > RASTERIZE TYPE.

7. Save your file as an Adobe PDF file. Click FILE > SAVE AS and select ‘Adobe PDF’ in the format options. Leave everything on High Quality Print settings and be sure the box labelled ‘Preserve Photoshop Editing Capabilities’ is ticked. Click SAVE PDF.

Save your file with the format “Your-Design-FRONT.pdf”.

Illustrator

1. Open the template file in Illustrator.

2. Make sure the ‘LAYERS‘ panel is visible on the right. If you can’t see it, go to WINDOW > LAYERS in the top toolbar. 

3. Click the layer named ‘YOUR DESIGN GOES HERE‘. Create your artwork on this layer.

4. Ensure your design is within the design area. The absolute maximum size is 32cm x 46cm.

5. Once you’ve finished designing, be sure to outline all fonts. Select all the type in the design, then got to TYPE > CREATE OUTLINES in the top toolbar.

6. Save your file as an Adobe PDF file. Click FILE > SAVE AS and select ‘Adobe PDF’ in the format options. Select the ‘High Quality Print’ preset and be sure the box labelled ‘Preserve Illustrator Editing Capabilities’ is ticked. Click SAVE PDF.

Save your file with the format “Your-Design-FRONT.pdf”.
